The Green Team

Evergreen Biodiesel is a cooperative effort led by our visionary, Michael Malloy. Michael’s unwavering commitment to biodiesel inspires us all. Kris Corey, a sculptor and man of many talents assembles the plants and performs delicate titrations. Bryan Malloy, son of Michael, is a skilled mechanic driving our truck (Ester is her name) from Big Oak Flat to Yosemite National Park, picking up waste veggie oil. Ellie Owen answers phones, pounds nails and is learning to oversee the everyday details of the biodiesel plant. Deborah Caliva has designed our website with care and creativity. Janis Schreiber follows the ever elusive paper trail as our patient bookkeeper. All of us share not only wardrobes spotted with veggie oil but an excitement that we are really making a difference. It makes coming to work everyday a real joy.

Our Mission

Our mission is to educate and inspire our community to use sustainable green energy, decrease toxic emissions that we believe have a direct bearing on global climate change,  and reduce dependency on foreign oil.

Everyone talks about it - Everyone worries about - Evergreen Biodiesel is doing something about it.

Join us and make a difference!

Our Vision

We are part of a growing green industry changing the way people think about and use energy. Evergreen Biodiesel collects waste vegetable oil from restaurants and turns it into a renewable plant-based fuel. It’s good for the environment and good for the economy of our local community. We are committed to making a difference by reducing greenhouse gases and recycling waste veggie oil.
